About Glory Vel School

Glory Vel School was empowered to create a conducive school environment on which to nurture Pupils and Students to acquire quality education in a moral and serene environment. The School was officially opened on September 6th, 1994, with a first enrolment of three pupils from Crèche.

Glory Vel has grown into a campus that employs over 50 teachers and non-teaching staff.

Parents and Teachers Association
(PTA)

Glory Vel School is partly governed by its Parent and Teacher Association (PTA), an outstanding group of parents and friends of Glory Vel School who cooperate with the Board of Directors and School Management to build a school environment that ensures all Pupils and Students achieve their aims.

The 7 elected members are appointed by the entire members of the association and are eligible for a maximum period of four years. The Executive Director and the Accountant are also co-opted members of the PTA.

Glory Vel Primary School

Classes in Glory Primary division have not more than 35 pupils in each class supervised by qualified professional Teachers. Ghana Education syllabus is used and all children are expected to take 10 taught subjects including English, Mathematics and Science.

Glory Vel PreSchool

Catch them while they are young, as it is said at Glory! School management recommends that all children are enrolled starting at age of 1 (Pre-School) progressing forward to Kindergarten, Primary School and to Junior High by the age of 14 prior to submitting the BECE to enter Senior High School or progress to year 10 in the new curriculum

Glory Vel Junior High School

A JHS class at Glory has no more than 35 pupils in a class with suitable qualified professional Teachers. Ghana Education syllabus is used in this school and all children are expected to take 10 taught subjects including English, Mathematics and Science.
